After testing them for years and having visited their town and talked with a member and their deacon in Feb 2018, we have decided to do more detailed articles and videos that expose the real issues here at Church of Wells.
This article focuses on the gospel their proclaim.
While we agree with some of the teachings they have on their website regarding having faith in Christ, being made new and walking in holiness and enduring in the faith to salvation, there is some troubling issues in their body regarding, the gospel.
1) I have one of their elders Ryan Ringnald saying on audio you MUST submit to their elders in order to go to heaven. This is a lie as ones salvation is tied to Christ alone and NOT any man.
Acts 4:12 says it is by Jesus we are saved.... no other name!
2) I have spoke with a man Rudy W face to face who has attended there for 6 years and the gospel he gave me was one of faith and new life but it lacked repentance and enduring in the faith. ( it sounded like a baptist gospel really ) Jesus said we must endure in Matthew 10.
3) I have heard reports how they tell people you must be in their body to go to heaven as those 3 men ( Sean, Ryan and Jake) have been specially called to revive God's church, which is a lie itself.
Paul said there is ONE body and that is the universal body NOT the Wells body, see Romans 12:5.
4) Their elder Rick Trudeau told me face to face his elders can discern who is born again ( that is a lie ) so it makes me wonder do they hold the keys to eternal life vs Christ alone? See Jeremiah 17:10 as God searches mans heart not other men.
5) Their deacon Rick T told me face to face that they are not calvin-ists but they support calvin-ist type men on their website??
See Col 2:8 ... do not be deceived by man made ways.
6) It is also confusing as some claim they have said they have THE truth alone and their fruit seems to echo this. That is always marks of great deception. Jesus said it is through HIM we gain eternal life John 14:6 not any group.
7) Though I proclaim Christ and I have no sin they have told me, I was NOT allowed near others or speak to the men openly about the gospel. Why is that???? Secrecy and hiding in the dark is NEVER of God's truth is it? Jesus in John 3:19-21 talks of darkness vs the light of truth.
The gospel good news/eternal life is NEVER tied to any man or group but to faith in CHRIST alone. Just ask the thief on the cross.
The fact this group has confusing/contradicting info on the gospel and is secretive (will not answer questions openly, their elders hid from me and my questions ) makes the gospel they proclaim questionable and confusing to discern. God's truth dwells in the light and is rooted in the Word, not these false men.
