Moved By The Spirit

Ephesians 6 says we wrestle not against flesh but the rulers of darkness, it's a spiritual battle and in our ministry we are being shown that over and over lately and it's only going to get worse. 

(Read Matthew 24) Last night was an example of that...

Many hours (until almost 3am) were spent trying to pull a young man, new in the faith, from the flames but in the end he turned to the darkness and along with Calvinism he claimed God's word was not alive for today.

This young man had shown fruit during several intense days of dividing scripture so it was a grievous time!

15 minutes later a message came in from a very young brother in another country, sending Hebrews 4:12 (the very verse just used in the phone call)

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

After he sent the verse he said:
"Living and active indeed"

God's word is alive today and He does work through the brethren....how timely for that perfect message of encouragement!
