I often run across other youth groups / ministries and decided to write a quick WARNING to everyone who would be associated to or send their youth to a camp. In 99.999% of the cases, this is NOT of God and it will NOT grow up your youth into biblical adults. Why do I day this? Lets look at the facts:
1) Most times these youth groups promote a easy believe raise your hand ACCEPT Jesus false gospel that is a lie! This creates false converts not holy saints. See the biblical gospel and a article on those topics:
2) youth groups are most often linked to man made denominational religion that is already full of sin and false ways.
They have youth pastors ( not found in scripture ) and they separate out the youth when the bible teaches we all learn together.
Your youth WONT find all truth here at these groups!

3) The bible clearly calls true saints to be pure, biblically dressed and come out of the carnal world and NOT be about their flesh and the world. ( see the 10 point test for articles on this )
1 John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Romans 8:8
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Yet these youth groups are all about the flesh, mixing boys and girls close together in fleshly ways, immodesty and things of the world with some of God tossed in. They most often emphasis sports, emotional music and carnal fleshly activities for fun; this feeds the flesh, and in no way helps kill it. Here are just a few of the examples that prove my point:
swimming, pagan war games, face painting, dancing around to emotional music with lights and smoke machines and many rowdy sports

4) the bible teaches youth are to be sober minded.
Titus 2
That they may teach the young women to be sober
Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity
Yet these groups are most often FILLED with foolishness and silly things like:
Contests to see how many Q tips a pastor can shove in his mouth and ears!
Or contests to see how many marshmallows you can get to stick to a whip creamed face!
Or watermelon eating with no hands....
And these are the more tame ones as I have seen contests where they use their mouths to take candy off peoples feet or suck jello out of soda bottle contests! Yes, it gets plain vile at times....
*All of this unbiblical fleshly foolishness but then some prayers and bible reading.... is really just mocking a Holy God.
He wont be mocked in the end. Gal 6
Do you see why these are NOT God honoring but flesh pleasing groups? So why would these places offer mostly silly fun, foolish games and worldliness when the bible forbids it all?
Well 3 main reasons:
*the adults putting them on are worldly and lost people themselves
*a biblical holy group ( about God's Word ) will NOT draw hardly anyone
*it is a money making venture to draw more people into their Sunday system so they need the "numbers" to turn a profit.
I pray you reconsider youth groups for your precious young soul. Remember the goal is to train up your child to be a adult, holy and sober minded, not to be a silly fool!
You would do far better to take time off, get in the Word yourself, test yourself to God's truth as a family and go for nature hikes / talk to your own youth in the Word vs sending them off to a carnal groups that is in sin against a Holy God.
