Jesus said in John 7 that we are to make right judgments.
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Many people in the world have this verse all wrong and make many wrong judgments based on very bad discernment.
We were out in a western town in Sept 2019 holding gospel signs and a vile angry man came by and yelled at us saying :
"you welfare people make me mad"!!!!!
(He began using the F word so there was no talking with him to reason.)
Another man in the same town asked me if:
I had a job?
We can only assume they are making wrong judgments as they have NO clue about the facts about us since they never bothered to ask us.
Sister Debbie and I had to smile.... even if just a bit.
You see God has blessed us and those people who say such things in haste and anger would be surprised if they knew our money situation. (We take NO money from anyone and support ourselves in our ministry efforts.)
We have worked hard to set ourselves free ("debt free") to serve God full time and the Father honors us and keeps providing for us in our small business p/t and in other self funding ways as well.

We pray those people who make such ill judgments will repent and find new eternal life in Christ lest they face the wrath of God.
