Recently in Sept 2019, we stood outside of a false worldly unbiblical evangelical Sunday church and preached the truth to call them out in love. ( I had tested them and emailed the modern pastors there but they ignored the truth for a year.)
Their hireling pastor (Eric in this case) came out and I rebuked him for all of his false, pagan, worldly, feminist, heretical/unbiblical ways.
The ONLY bible verse he said was Romans 8:39
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Sadly, this is their "go to" verse to claim they and their church folk can be worldly, carnal, silly, harlot dressed, unbiblical and sinful but still be right with God anyway. It is a calvinistic demonic lie many are taught that I need to expose in love to warn you.
Fact:
Paul does not say in Romans 8 that sin CAN'T separate us. In truth he teaches all over as does the bible, that sin can and does separate us from God!
So the premise of these evangelical places is that no matter how much sin you are in, you are still safe in God because you believe and Jesus died / shed His blood for you. They claim this verse says NOTHING can separate you from God. This false, heretical and devilish doctrine is very easy to refute if you know God's holy word and rightly divide it.
*The context of Romans 8 is trials/tribulation not your own rebellious sin!
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
First, lets ask a basic bible question that ANY 5th grade Sunday school student could easily answer.
What is it that separates us from God, going all the way back to the garden?
It is sin.... ( transgression of God's law )
While it is true that Christ came to die for the sins of the world, it is NOT true you can stay in your sin and still be saved into God's kingdom. You must follow Christ in faith, repent and turn away from sin and be made new then endure.... to ever see heaven!
The bible is full of warnings about living in sin (worldliness / false religion) and folks being judged and losing out on heaven over their sin.
Need just a few examples:
*Matt 6:15 Jesus says if you do not forgive you wont be forgiven
*Acts 5 a married couple is KILLED over one lie!
*Luke 15 the prodigal son was LOST till he repented and came home.
*John 5:14 Jesus warns the man to stop sinning
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
John 8:11 Jesus tells the adulterous woman
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Romans 6 Paul says shall we keep sinning, no!!!
Hebrews 10:26 warns if you keep sinning you won't be forgiven
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
There are MANY more verses that warn against sinning and expecting salvation but their is NOT one verse that says you can live in sin and expect to be right with a Holy God. Not one verse teaches that!
Note: this is not teaching works for salvation at all no! It is teaching a saving faith means you have turned from sin, you obey and God's spirit has guided you to battle and leave all sin as fruit your His.
This false pastor Eric and many other false calvin-istic teachers like him are lying to millions with their demonic doctrines / lies as it fills up pews but damns means souls.
