I have always said the day will come when I WILL be arrested for preaching out in the world and that day was ALMOST yesterday! I told sister Debbie, I was about 2 seconds away but no fault of my own.
I will have a article up soon that discusses all the details but in short we went to a Mennonite place to talk truth after their service outside their building. It was calm and peaceful talk ( no yelling / I have it all on audio ) for only 4 minutes and they still called the police on us for being there and talking God's truth. They had asked us to lunch??? and had not even asked us to leave, we were talking calmly but the police were called in anyway.
Now normally that is fine and I can talk to them and it all goes well. Not this time!
This time I had a HOT head officer! He gave me less then 30 seconds to get in my van and leave before he arrested me for criminal trespass. ( he even denied my first amendment rights saying.... I had none in his county, wow!!! ) Imagine that, charged with a crime for going to a church building that has a welcome sign for all on it.
Here is the point of this post.
Below I have some tips on dealing with police. Most officers are decent, you can dealt with them easily if you respect them and obey the law. After seeing this mad, angry over the top cop, I will now remind you and counsel you that it is wise to gauge the temperament, if you can. This officer got ANGRY so fast, after I witnessed to him, I had no time to judge the situation at all.
Please... street preaching evangelists, be careful out here. It is getting darker and the enemies of God's truth are growing more evil both from within the "so called" body of Christ and the world!
Jesus warned in Matt 10 we will be hated and it is a truth you will see over and over if you strive out in the world for God's truth!
