Rechargeable Fan for Van Dwelling / Homestead Life

When you live off grid on a homestead or in van life, air flow becomes critical to stay cool; esp at night to sleep in the humid summer months. I did a post about keeping cool here and we do have some good smaller fans mentioned there:
https://spiritandtruthdiscernment.blogspot.com/2020/04/keep-your-van-cool.html

We have researched, tried and seen different things and I am about to recommend a great product we have bought and now use.

I give you the Makita battery 18 volt fan / DCF model:

It is run on the Makita 18V re-chargeable battery and you can but a AC plug for it too.

It has three settings, a timer and a rotating option. All the speeds blow good volumes of air and the greatest feature is it lasts 18 hours on low and about 8 on high. It is a good quality fan with a 3 year warranty as well. (about $80 plus a battery and charger)

We went with it because I already had the Makita battery chainsaw that came with 4 batteries and a charger. Plus I knew the great quality of Makita products and this fan does not disappoint. We will use it daily and nightly in our van life as well as on the homestead in winter to move wood stove air around.

Now we always have fresh batteries ready and we charge up when we run the generator for like 1 hour a day. It is a great system for us. Keep in mind this fan can be used if you run your own business like painting and it can then, make you money.

Note:
There are ways to "make money online" and then you get items like this for free. We know cause we do it, do your own research!

I know it is a good size investment at close to $200 for the fan battery and a charger. We consider it a investment and all the money we save living off grid and so small and simple; by far it covers the cost of a few needed items. Plus it keeps us out in the world to reach the lost. (it gets hot in a van)

I hope you consider getting other Makita products like a cordless drill, grinder, sawzal and you will get more batteries to use with all the tools.
Rating:
We would give this a 5 out of 5 and all that is left to see is if it lasts? But with a 3 year warranty, I am not worried at all.

Check it out and see if it is a fit for your needs?
