I received this email contesting the gospel that I preach so I wanted to give an answer. It is a evangelical false easy believe theology and sadly; this is so very common. You can see my answer with ***** by my words next to his blue email words below:

I recently read your article online about Justin Peters and agree with you he is a false teacher by the bibles definition of true and false teachers.
**** Praise God you have this right as Peters is a calvinistic heretic. See Peters exposed here:
https://bewareoffalse-unbiblicalteachers.blogspot.com/2019/11/justin-peters-ministries-exposed.html
I do not agree with your position on salvation doctrine .
*** With all due respect mans opinions do not matter; only the Word amen?
All of John 3 specifically outlines in detail salvation and how to receive it ..
***** John 3 is a wonderful chapter that says much about salvation but; it is NOT the end of God's truth as there is more. To believe on Jesus is to follow and obey Him. John 14;15 tells us we obey if we love him. John 3:19 thru 21 tell of those who love sin and hide in the dark.
When paul writes about enduring in our faith it is an encouragement, not a requirement to STAY saved.
**** Not true at all sir; Paul and Jesus warns all over of not enduring and finishing our faith. We must endure or be lost! Try 1 Cor 15
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain".
And Matthew 24:13 "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."
If it means what you propose then the finished work of our salvation is dependent upon us.We have nothing to do with getting saved, or staying saved.
***** Jesus did His work perfectly now we must follow and produce fruit of be cut off. John 15 says so. We are in a covenant and we do have a part in it. (but we never could do it without Christ so it is not based on works but they are the fruit of a true faith) God has always worked in covenants and like a marriage; they have two parties who each have a part to do! It is why Jesus said STRIVE in Matthew 13.... to enter into heaven. No verse backs up your evangelical idea of Jesus doing everything and we do NOTHING at all!
If you believe it does depend on something we do then you have made Jesus out to be a liar and the bible is full of contradictions.
**** Not at all. Read Matthew 25 where Jesus says the righteous who did good works enter in and the sinner are cast out! In Revelation he says those who OVERCOME see heaven.
Remember that NT writers do not contradict Jesus, so we cannot use scripture to refute the teachings of Jesus..
****** I agree and the NT writers and Jesus match perfectly. They all speak of a a faith of striving, holiness, obeying and living in righteousness as fruit; to eternal life vs sin to death. Romans 6:16
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
please prayerfully consider 1 peter 1
*******Peter says Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
And Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
******Faith and works just like James 2 says.....
all of John 3,
***** Again John 3 lays out believing on Jesus which is following in obedience, new life and it shows those who love/keep sin are left outside of the kingdom. John 3:19 thru 21
and John 6 verses 37 through 4O..
****** Jesus is saying He will lose none and He wont but; he himself said in Matt 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
To believe on Jesus Christ is our repentance...We have changed from our unbelief to believing on Him.
***** That is part of repentance, to change the mind but it also means to leave sin. John the Baptist said do WORKS showing repentance and Jesus said multiple times... GO SIN NO MORE! You cannot live on in sin or you will suffer hell. Read Hebrews 10:26 ..... it says you cant live in wilful sin or His blood wont cover you!
No small task since this depends on grace alone Jesus saves us,
***** Not one verse says Grace Alone as that is a Luther lie. You are adding to Gods Word now and it is very dangerous. I have many articles on my teaching blog that expose grace alone sir. Go read them to help your theology.
it is Jesus who keeps us holds onto us 1 Peter 1 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance [b]incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
***** We are indeed kept by the power of God; it is the Holy Spirit in us. But we have a will and you can sin and rebel and lose salvation as you have a part to do. Read Acts 5... where God killed a couple over one sin when they lied to the Holy Spirit. Did God keep them or did their wilful sin kill/damn them?
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
