Personal Hygiene and Toilets
One area of great interest to people is personal hygiene, showering and toilets in the van dwelling life. Since this is a very personal private matter of life, we do not go into it on line much as fro how we do it. You can research and find many resources about how to over come these areas. It is possible to do and not at all that complicated we have found.... if.... you want to live simple and kill your flesh daily? The only people we do go into more depth on this, are those who we are closely connected to in the faith life daily who desire the van dwelling life.
Hint:
Break all of your known mindsets, past daily habits and realize that there are OTHER simpler ways to do things.
We do know that for those who God is calling or who chose good reasons to go into van dwelling, these areas are really a SMALL factor to over come. (I mean, how much of your day is really spent with a toilet or in shower anyway?)
For toilets... people use either simple camper bucket toliets with a just plastic bag ($12) all the way to fancy expensive rv camper toilets. ($ hundreds of dollars) You decide...
For showers... people use fancy rv bathrooms to pop up hunting blinds outside to home made tote / shower curtains in their vans. Many use showers at gyms, truck stops or even just doing water wash ups and not showers at all. You decide....
*Do some research it is all out there and not hard to find.
Me and sister Debbie laugh daily as we actually enjoy the simple easy ways we have over come these important areas. You will do the same thing as you over come and find your way to make it all work. Do not let these small issues deter you from the freedom and any rewards of serving God in van dwelling life.
